Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Kosher Agent Inc. (“KosherAgent,” “we,” “us”) is a New York corporation located at 87 Forest Rd, Ste 405, Monroe, NY 10950. The data controller for purposes of GDPR is Kosher Agent Inc.
2. Plain-English summary
- We answer phone calls. To do that, we transcribe what you say, send it to AI models that decide what to do, and play a response back. Audio is encrypted in transit.
- If you choose to connect your Google account, we access your Gmail and Google Calendar only to do what you ask the assistant to do — never for advertising, never to train AI models, and we never sell it.
- We retain transcripts briefly so your assistant can remember context. Specifics below.
- We never sell your voice or transcripts. We never train AI models on them.
- You can delete your data at any time by emailing privacy@thekosheragent.com or asking the agent on the phone.
3. Information we collect
When you call:
- Audio of your speech during the call.
- Caller phone number (from caller ID).
- Call metadata (start/end time, duration, success/failure).
- Transcripts of your speech and our responses.
- Information you give us during the call (names, addresses, preferences, calendar items, reminders).
When you connect a Google account: the Gmail and Google Calendar data described in §4.
When you visit thekosheragent.com:
- We do not use cookies or web analytics on the marketing site. Our web host records standard request logs (IP, user-agent, URL, timestamp) for abuse prevention. We do not access these logs unless investigating an incident.
We do not collect: location data beyond what you tell us; biometric voiceprints used to identify you outside our service; payment data (we don’t take card payments through the site).
4. Connecting your Google account (Gmail & Google Calendar)
KosherAgent is a phone assistant, but you can optionally connect your Google account so the assistant can help with your email and calendar when you ask it to. Connecting is always your choice, is done through Google’s secure sign-in (OAuth), and you can disconnect at any time. We only request the permissions needed for the features you use.
What we access. When you connect your Google account, you grant KosherAgent permission to:
- Gmail — read your recent messages (so the assistant can read or summarize email you ask about) and, when you ask, draft, send, and organize messages on your behalf.
- Google Calendar — view your calendar and create, edit, or cancel events when you ask.
How we use it. We use your Google data only to provide these features to you, in direct response to your requests — for example, reading you an email or adding an appointment. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell or rent it, and we do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.
How we store it. We securely store the access credentials (tokens) Google issues so the assistant can act for you; they are encrypted. Email and calendar content is processed to fulfill your request and is not retained longer than needed to provide the feature (see §7). You can revoke KosherAgent’s access at any time from your Google Account’s security settings or by emailing privacy@thekosheragent.com.
How we share it. We do not share your Google data with third parties except the infrastructure providers strictly necessary to perform the feature you requested (for example, the AI model that drafts a reply at your request), under confidentiality obligations and never for their own purposes.
Limited Use. KosherAgent’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Audio recordings are personal data. We rely on contract as our primary legal basis; you may withdraw consent for marketing at any time without affecting service, and you may disconnect your Google account at any time.
6. Categories of personal information (CCPA)
In the last 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information about California residents:
- Identifiers (name, phone number, email)
- Customer records (preferences, calendar items)
- Audio and electronic information (call recordings, transcripts)
- Google account content you authorize us to access (email and calendar data)
- Internet or network activity (request logs, only for site visitors)
Sources: directly from you, from your phone carrier (caller ID), and from Google when you connect your account. Purposes: operating the service; performing the Google features you request; security; legal compliance. Disclosed to: sub-processors listed in §9. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You can ask us to delete any of the above earlier by emailing privacy@thekosheragent.com or asking the agent on the phone.
8. Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Access the personal information we have about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information.
- Receive a copy in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Disconnect your Google account, which stops all further access to your Gmail and Calendar.
EU/EEA/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California residents have rights under CCPA including the right to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — see the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information section below.
To exercise any right, email privacy@thekosheragent.com with the phone number associated with your account. We respond within 30 days.
9. Third-party service providers
To deliver KosherAgent we rely on a small set of vetted infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, telecom, transcription, language models) under signed data-processing agreements. When you use the Google features, we also interact with Google APIs on your behalf to read and act on the data you authorize. We disclose the specific provider list to enterprise customers and to any user who requests it by emailing privacy@thekosheragent.com. We will notify users of material changes by email.
10. International transfers
KosherAgent is operated from the United States. Some of our service providers may transfer or store data outside your country. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
11. Children
KosherAgent is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
12. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, this section will be updated and you will be able to opt out by emailing privacy@thekosheragent.com.
